Doctors in NYC?

Can anyone please tell me if they know of a good IC Urologist that they've used or heard of, either in NYC or Nassau County, who's compassionate and gives you time?

Based on my symptoms, my internist thinks I have IC and should see a Urologist. I live in Brooklyn, so the easiest for me would be to go in NYC or Nassau county.

If anyone could please help me out, I'd appreciate it.

Is Nassau County in LI? Because I believe that's where Dr. Robert Moldwin is. He is supposed to be THE man. He wrote "The Interstitial Cystitis Survival Guide". You are SO CLOSE to where he is! I'm in Westchester, but there's no way I could make the trip down, even though I'd love to see him. I think he might be on the Queens/LI border. Sorry, I wish I knew more, but someone on here will definitely know where he is. Did you check out the list of doctors on the site? Good luck and let us know if you see him!

Dr. Moldwin's office is at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park.

Dr. Moldwin of coursse would be optimal. I see a Dr. David Kaufman who is pretty good.
