How often do you get rescue instillations

I was wondering how often doctors prescribe rescue instillations for. I am getting one every other day for 2 weeks. My doctor did not mention anything else about getting any more than that. I am new to this and was just wanting some input. Thanks.

I do my rescue instillations myself at home (and this is something that, if you're willing to learn, I do suggest). My doctor has said I should do them about 2-3 times a week, but I can do them every day if necessary -- like right now. I'm in a bad flare, and these instills are saving my sanity! :)

It really depends on your Dr. on how many he believes is safe for you. I at one time was going to the office once a week, then i was going twice a week then gave up..... a while later i started doing them at home once a day, shortly later i was doing them three times a day. I even at one time went up to four times a day as needed. It also depend on what your dr. is using in your rescue treatments if it safe to use them this many times.

You really need to find out what is in your treatments, and if your Dr. believes it safe to do more of them or less....
