Are there any canned soups that you can eat w/o a problem? I think the high levels of sodium may bother many a bladder, but dang, sometimes I just want something quick and easy! lol
I miss my Cambells Vegetarian Vegetable w/ ABC's! :biglaugh: too "tomatoey"! (Yep..I invent words because I'm cool like that!) j/k

LOL, Kara, that's my favorite soupl! Ever since I was a little kid, it's been my #1! But I don't like the fact they messed around with the noodles, liked them the way they were before, lol!!
I was fine with most canned soups, but in the beginning until I knew for sure, I avoided ones with lots of preservatives and MSG.

Hey KI, I know how you feel, sometimes you just aren't in the mood to cook and it would be so much easier to open up a can of soup with a grilled cheese on the side. Hopefully someone has some ideas for both of us! :)

The only kinds I can tolerate are chicken noodle and clam chowder. I'm a label reader, which can make a grocery shopping trip very long.

I know Traceann! Why is it they have to *change* something that was *perfect* beforehand! LOL
I just wish there were more "easy" foods for us IC'rs!
Big Fig.....you made me crave a grilled cheese and ABC soup last night! LOL
Donna, I'm a laber reader AND a coupon cutter! SO I can spend 1/2 the day buying groceries! If I'm not reading a label, I'm searching through coupons and comparing prices/quantity! lol

Most canned soups have MSG in them & the dreaded tomato sauce. Since we're all so different, I guess you'll never know if you can tolerate them or not until you try. I think (don't quote me on this) that Healthy Request has lower sodium levels than the "regular" soups & I don't know about all of them, but I do know that some of the HR soups are MSG free.

I was going to suggest the Healthy Choice line. I eat them due to being on a low sodium diet, and now a low cholesterol diet; and I've never noticed an increase in bladder symptoms.
good luck

Campbells Healthy Request Soups seem to have less junk than some of the others. Also, organic soups at health food stores have a lot lees junk in them than most commercial brands. Just try to avoid the tomatoe based soups. :smile tee

Hey, Kara! I miss that taco fiesta campbells soup. Ahhhh....
I usually eat cream cheese on toasted Ezekiel 4:9 wheat bread when I'm in a hurry, or just american cheese on honey wheat. I always have blueberries frozen for snacks, and when I'm in the mood for something yummy, I heat up a box of Alexis brand "fried" mushrooms. They are pretty darn low in fat to taste so freakin' yummy! I get them at Kroger's organic freezer section, right next to the also yummy Alexis mozzarella sticks!
If I want that special something nice and warm (in place of where I'd normally eat soup or have hot tea), I heat up a tall mug with half water, half organic whole milk, and stir in two heaping teaspoons of International Coffee's Vanilla Creme. My favorite treat! Sometimes that is my only "lunch" if I'm really busy, which I am most the time now.
BTW, I just hired another artist, so I can have more "me" time...wahoo!

I'll be on the lookout for some of those! I wish I would've checked this thread before I went to the market earlier this afternoon! They just added a new organic section.......whoo hoo! :woohoo:
Hmm......guess I'll go have some fun making my crew Manicotti and Key lime pie (still fun to cook, but somewhat torcherous I can't have any! lol)

Hey, I just tried butternut squash for the first time this past weekend. I love it! I'll have to try the soup now. Is it only sold at Whole Foods? I only go there once a month, because it's not as close as Krogers and the other regular stores.
