Thank You (I am back)

Today is one week to the day of my surgery. At this time last week I was having the Urethrectomy and Reconstruction. To those of you who have been by my side this entire time for my revision, I want to extend my deepest thank you from my heart. Thank you to those who called, sent cards, flowers, and came to see me in the Hospital and posted questions on my behalf when I was unable to write them myself. It helped me heal to get to a better place. The support has been 100% priceless.

I am back.

I love you all and Thank You Again for Being There.

I wanted to thank each and every one of you who supported me over the past several years. Some of you didn't know me when I fist came on in 1999 as a newbie, but over the years I have met a bunch of great people! This time around I have met some even more courageous and brave people and most importantly the love that has gone back and forth between us. I've tried my best to give support as much as I can and you have all been so gracious enough to give me support even when I wasn't there for you! That is true love. This is what a support group is all about. Loving, Sharing, Caring, and being there for one another in our ups and downs and even in our crisis moments and even if I dare mention it, when we need to vent our frustrations. It's now 2006 and I am still here. My goal now is to learn how to take care of my new body (with the help of this board) heal, recover and be here for you all when you need me for anything. That was always my intention to give when I could and to get some support when I needed it and that is why I am here. I hope someday there is a cure for this disease and we can all move on with our lives as best we can but for now we just need to hang in there and know that we have eachother to lean on.

Myself and my family included want to thank you all for what you have done for us! It's priceless.

I will always love you all for what you do for me and I hope that in my travels I have helped some of you too.
