I have not been to this sight in awhile, but heres my question. For the last two days I have had a burning pain that started out on my right hip, but has now wrapped around to my pelvic area, and my pain meds are not even touching the pain, does anyone have any idea what this could be?

:hi: crichey :welcome: back! burning pain is often related to nerves or PFD....what are your pain meds? If you have a anticonvulsant and it isn't touching it than it lessons the likelihood of nerve pain.

Do baths, cold, or heat help?
Have you ever looked into endo.....my endo pain started in places where I had scar tissue...and we don't always knows where that may be. Although burning is not how I would describe my endo pain.

If pain is that severe you need to tell your doctor.

I sure hope you find the answer to what is going on and feel better soon!

I am taking, viacoden, and have tried heating pad, baths, and it is not getting any better. Before my 2 hystorectomies (partial, than full 3 months apart) could it be scare tissue from that and my 3 csections? We recently moved to a new state and the uro here seems great, but I really don't know him. So not sure what he will do. What is PDF??

PFD stands for Pelvic Floor Dysfunction....most patients with IC have it to some degree and if you have had two hysterectomies and 3 c sections that may make it even more likely.....

viacoden isn't an anticonvulsant....
scar tissue may contribute to things....it may be bothering a nerve or something.
is your IC flaring....any increase in IC symptoms?

If this is a new pain, you really should see your doctor.
