IC & Constipation

My fiance Lara has severe constipation. She's had it ever since her IC grew worse in 1993. I checked out the "helpforibs.com" and am ordering the "Heathers' Tummy" Acacia product. Has anyone ever used this?

Since Lara has so recently had her surgery, please contact her doctor for advice about the constipation. I wouldn't try experimenting with anything that's not suggested by her surgeon.

If she hasn't tried Elmiron yet for her IC it might be worth a shot, as it has my constipation pretty much under control.
