Question about birth control

Hi Everyone,

I need some advice on birth control. I have to be on it for uterine bleeding....in other words when I get my period...it doesn't stop unless I am taking the pill. The problem I have is that when I take the pill it flares my IC. I feel like I am in a catch 22. I definately don't want to do anything that is going to flare my IC but I don't want to have uterine bleeding the rest of my life either. I have been taking Yasmin but I believe it caused this latest flare that I am in. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or has anything worked for you that didn't cause IC problems? I have discussed it with my doctor and she just sort of scratches her head and looks at me. I had thought about the Nuva Ring?? But didn't know if it would still cause problems for my bladder. Any advice? Thanks

Hio there. I have issues with my pills and am seeing a gyno tomm so I will let you know. I start having issues the second week of my pill plus PMS two weeks before my period. I am not sure the Nuva ring would hurt you but my friend got pregnant twice while on it so just do your research. I definately think that birth control affects me!
