Has anyone here taken a train with IC? Is it bumpy and aggrevating to IC or not. I have problems with car rides, bus rides if not extremely short, public transportation. What to you think?
Songbird - I did finally find this post (that you'd asked about earlier). I'm not sure why It didn't turn up on the "new posts" page, but it seems to be open for posts. Weird, huh???

I have never taken a train ride but I just took a vacation and I was on a plane and I didn't have any problems.
I hate so say it but if you have problems with public transportation, you might find that a train would be the same. If you have to take the train ride, why not take something to make you sleep like a valium or an ativan?
Good luck...I hope someone else comes along to actually ANSWER your question ;)

Hi Songbird
When I was in college I went traveling Europe by train. That's my only experience with trains. It was a lot of fun, great way to travel, but I didn't have IC then!
I remember the trains to be very jolting. And trying to use the RR, really difficult!!, with the car swinging back and forth, even more difficult than using the RR on the buses I've been on in Mexico, in the mountains.
Well, college was a LONG time ago, maybe there have been some improvements since then! :)

I spent an entire night on a train a few years ago --- went from Eugene, OR to Davis, CA --- I was totally tired, but it didn't bother my bladder.
