Mild IC 6 Years...dull ache in stomach HELP

Hi Friends:

I'm 34 years old and I have had mild IC for about 6 years......just had a cystoscopy not the hydro....diagnosed with IC based just on symptoms.......

I hope someone can guide me in the right direction.

This past last week Wednesday I ended my period.

The day that it ended I began to get really bad stomach cramps and a bad back ache like I was going to start my period again. That was last Wednesday. The back ache has gone but I still have this weird dull ache in my abdomen, feels like I"m going to begin my period again...and sometimes with a little neausa and have had diareaha maybe 3 times not much..........

Any clue what this could be? and this entire time since last Wed...my bladder has been feeling just great.

I'm really scared..........

I have no other health problems other than a bladder condition called INterstitial cystitis.

Could you have an infection?
Sounds like your body may be overly acidic like possibly from a little virus or something...it can cause symptoms like nasea, frequency (both bowels and bladder) and if you have IC it could include a pain similar to period cramps. Is your urine dark at all? Have you started or stopped any meds or treatments recently?

July, my IBS causes me stomach pain...I found out I had gas....I changed to an antispasmodic that works on more muscles and started taking beano with everything I eat....it helped a lot!

I've seen Beano at the store. It is usually right next to the Prelief! I may have to run out and get some!
