Anyone else have this issue!!!!

I was diagnosed with IC about 4 years ago. I have had oain from IC for a long time.......well l since November I have been having some pain on my right side that just doubles me over. It comes and goes, but when it hits it is terrible.
Anywayi am not sureif the pain is from IC or if it is from the diveriticulosis that I was daignosed with in February.
I had an episode last night. I was fine all day but had taken a 3 hour car trip. At about 7 I had a very painful bowel movement and then the pain started. All on my right side and it felt like someone was stabbing me with something and it went directly through to my back. It was very painful, i took my temperature and it was 99.6, and the pain just didn't slow down.
I took two vicoden for the pain and they never touched the pain. I waited for 2 hours and then we went into the er because the pain was so bad. In the ER they checked my urine and said that it was fine and then they did a cat scan to check for diverticulitis which was negative, and they gave me pain meds. In the end they had no idea why I was in pain and sent me home with some anti-spasmotic meds.
This morning I woke up with the pain still there and feeling very uncomfortable. It wasn't till this morning that I thought this might be IC pain.
So after all that my question is does anyone have IC pain that is mainly on the right side and in the back on the right side?
Any help would be great!

Ugh, I wish I had some answers for you, I know having new/mysterious pains are no fun!!

I had a problems last year with the right lower quadrant of my abdomen (like right in line with my hip bone, maybe a hair higher) having pains and going through to my back, actually at first felt just like a back ache - in one very localized spot. Very weird, ended up finding out I had a bout of one of the forms of colitis going on, but I am still not sure to this day what exactly was causing the pain - IC? Colitis? It seemed to go away (only returns every now and then) once I got the colitis under control, so it could have been that.

I do hope someone chimes in who maybe has a bit more insight than I do, as I would like to know all I can!!! ;)

I have had pain on the left side of my abdomen that feel like stabbing pain. I usually notice it when I am just waking up and trying to get out of bed or while rolling over. It is so painfull that I usually cry out. The pain is intermittant so I don't know what to make of it. I thought maybe it was bowel related.
