how long before urinalysis?

Hi all

I am so miserable I dont know if this is just a bad flare or a UTI. how do you guys tell the difference? I cant get a urinalysis tomorrow, it has to wait until wednesday atleast. what should I do? I know self medicating is bad but I have some trimethoprim here. I took so much medication adn it still hurts like hell. what should I do...

have you ever tried Azo? its an over the counter product that turns your urnine orange. It is like peridium. its the only thing that helps my bladder pain. im not sure if this is the same as the med you mentioned. Also keep drinking water.

I wouldn't take any kind of antibiotic since it can distort the urinalysis. You might be able to drop off a urine sample to your doctor's office today even if you can't actually have your appointment until tomorrow.
