Hello all,
Well I'm back in one of my phases where I read about things that are correlated to IC and I get all excited and convinced that I can cure myself. (You prolly know what I'm talking about? )

So anyways, I've been reading about how people with IC generally have smaller adrenal glands that don't function as well and all that jazz. So I've decided to try supplements that are supposed to help support adrenal functioning. (I think one of the profiles on the IC Network featured a woman who took some kind of supplements for her adrenal glands and she said shes in remission??? Who was that? Or am I hallucinating lol.)

The supplements I am gonna try are called Adrenal Caps by Solaray. Has anyone given those a whirl? Also I'm gonna take a vitamin b5 supplement. (Is that irriatating? I know the b6 is and folic acid...) Haven't started yet cause I'm kinda chicken. They could, of course, lead to a bladder flare so I haven't worked up the courage to try them out yet. But I'll keep you all posted once I try them.
I'll let you know if I happen to stumble across the cure for IC. :bonk:

Any kind of stress can quickly deplete the adrenal glands functioning. I have taken adrenal support from time to time, I usually avoid any product with animal adrenal tissue in it due to fear of what kind of health the animal was in.
I have known and heard of people who benefited greatly from these glandular extracts, this is just my personal prejudice.

I've wondered about adrenal things too, but I'm trying other drugs and can't do to much at once. One day I will want to try them. Let us know how it helps. I've been taking cytotec and then I added colustrum/lactoferrin and horsetail tea and estrace cream and now I'm in this flare and I don't know what started it. PV
