Hey Guys:

Can anyone help me out. I am feeling really rotten and I don't have a clue what is going on.

I went to my primary care about a week ago when my vaginal area felt inflamed and sore. I figured it was a result of my taking natural Estradiol and Progresterone for one week. She did a urinalysis and said lo and behold I had a bladder infection. She then gave me a script for Cipro, which made me sick as a dog. I only took three. I called and told her I couldn't take the stuff and she then gave me Madcrobids, 2 a day. I have been on them for almost a week and I feel awful today. I was intimate with my husband yesterday, and it burned so bad I thought I would die. Like sandpaper on fire.

I feel feverish, my head hurts, my bladder is slightly spasming, it doesn't burn when I pee, but the whole vaginal area feels inflamed and I think my bladder is kinking in on the action. She did an internal and said I was fine when I went for my visit originally. I have no discharge, but I do have frequency.

Does anybody have a clue what is going on here? Who do I need to call a Urologist or an OBGYN? Is this a flare? or is this something else? Can this be atrophic vaginitis? or do bladder infections act this way? I don't usually feel this bad when I am having a normal flare.

It takes a month to get in to see my URo or a OBGYN around here.

thanks

This sounds like what happens to me when I am in a flare...I am in one right now and its pretty much the way you have described whats happening to you..But you do have a bladder infection which I would think would make the flare even worse...I luckily have never had a flare and an infection at the same time...But maybe thats why you feel so bad...Anyway you look at it I would sure go see your primary Dr and take it from there...Hope you feel well soon...Snooks
