Which drugs cause flares?

Is there a list somewhere of drugs that cause flares?

I've found Nyquil and Claritin-D to cause major flares.

That varies so much from person to person, as much as our IC varies from person to person. Its kind of a trial and error thing really.

It can depend entirely on the individual. Some of the allergy meds will pop my eyes open and keep me awake all night when they make most people relax and sleep. Elavil did the same thing to me --- popped my blood pressure up to dangerous levels and I didn't sleep for an entire night when I tried a small dose --- and many take it so they can sleep.

Nyquil, or any other cough medicine seems to give me flares.
Sometimes I will take half a dose, it doesn't work as well but it's better then nothing when you have a cold, and seems to not effect me as bad then taking the full dose.

What kind of drugs are you concerned about?

Thanks for the replies. I am new to IC, and have had problems from Ibuprophen (I then looked on the boards and saw it is a no-no) and from a novocaine or lanociane injection (I then looked and saw others had had the same problem) just in a couple of weeks. I was just hoping there might be a list like the diet list so I don't have to keep going through that with meds that are optional. Thanks!
