View Full Version : Splenda ok?
I'm aware the artificial sweetners are a no-no but wondered since splenda is made differently if it might be ok. I drank a diet rite the other day without any noticable change in my symptoms. I noticed that diet rite has splenda and is caffine free. Of course it does have citric acid and the carbonation. I have a whole canister of splenda that I would use as a suger substitute I'm hoping that maybe I don't have to throw it out after all.

Some ICers are bothered by Splenda. I personally am not. My suggestion would be to take it slowly until you know for sure.

I am not bothered by it either, and I agree with Donna, try small amounts at a time... ;)

I use SPenda but can't have anything with Citric Acid. Seems like everything I look at has Citric Acid.

i had a TERRIBLE time with splenda.
For a while i mis-understood something i read and stopped eating sugar, using mostly splenda sweetned things. it made my symptoms 20 times worse.
Be careful with that stuff
