hello everyone,
it has been so long since I have posted. Just wanted to let everyone know what is helping me. But first of all I have to give credit to the good Lord above! he is the reason I am doing so well! I suffered for a year with IC and vulvodynia and went to many doctors. I went through bladder installations for about six months. I am now only doing treatments maybe once every three months. I started taking zelnorm for my gastroparesis (which is also used for irratable bowel). I noticed every time I had a bowel movement i would feel much better with my bladder pain. I don't know why, but it seems the zelnorm has brought me out of remission. I am not having as many flare ups.

I want to thank everyone for all the support during the last year. I have decided to take all the pain and suffering and turn it into something good. I am going to try to go to school to be a dietician so I can educate others on diet and IC! I have been wanting to do this for a long time, but it is very hard to work and go to school especially with IC, but if it is God's will I know I can do it.

Yes, getting rid of constipation can be a huge relief for IC symptoms. For me, it's half the battle. Half the time I'm battling IC, the other half I'm battling constipation which is exacerbating the bladder pain. When I deal with both well through the balance of the meds, things go along pretty well.

So glad to hear of your good news.
