Well, when i was little i was on nose spray until i was 12 cuz my kidneys were overactive. they didnt slow down at night like they were supposed to so i'd pee the bed. I have had UTI after UTI...i pee every hour on the hour...i always had pain. Finally, i'm 22 yrs old I switched to a new doctor...and WOW i got diagnosed within like 2 months. I just always got used to the pain being there. I didn't realize there was something wrong. Now I know and now I can do something about it. I used to cry alot...I think there is never any hope and I'm totally sick of being in pain all the time. But finally I got hope now. And with the support of everyone wow it's gonna get so much better. Well, I just wanted to say hi and tell ya'll a bit about me! Have a great day! I know I am lately!!

Hi Amanda

I bet you feel so much better just knowing what's wrong with you. Now, hopefully, you're on your way to a painfree future with a lot less focus on your bladder. :woohoo:

Hi Amanda and :welcome:

There is alot of information here! Have you started the IC diet?

That is a start to feeling better! :)

:welcome: to the IC Network. I have to agree with you --- the absolute worst time with IC is before diagnosis. Once you know what it is you're dealing with, it becomes easier.

Warm hugs,
Donna

Hi there! I just wanted to extend a nice warm welcome to the ICN. This is a great place where you can be supported by others who have IC. When I was first diagnosed, this board was so helpful.

Wishing you lots of healing ahead,
Jennifer
