bleeding

I just had an instillation today. When i went to the bathroom to let it out i was bleeding a light pink. Ever since ive been going to the bathroom after that the blood is getting more red. Only when i wipe i see it. Its kinda freaking me out because this has never happened before. Could it be from the instillation...the meds put in it....or that im not used to being catherized every week. Please get back to me asap,its really scarying me....should i be worried, or is it normal? Thanks again

Hi Hon Ive not had a install before but just wanted to say ,you should probley call your doc office to see if this is normal.Best of luck Sandra

I agree that you need to call your doctor. Sometimes bloody urine is a sign of infection and you don't want to let it go.

Well my mom called the emergency number they have at my uro's office and i got a call back from MY DOCTOR at 9:30pm! He said that when i was cathed that my bladder distended too much? and that it made me bleed? Well this morning it finally stopped it bled for about 18hrs. It got really red like it was my periode but it wasnt cuz i dont get mine. it freaked me out soo much cuz that has never happened to me b4. Well i just wanted to say thanks for your thoughts about what it might have been and for the prayers!!
