Botox made me worse than when I started without it.

I caved in and tried and waited and waited and waited for the Botox to kick in and work, instead, I ended up in the hospital for 8 days with a running epidural to block the pain. It worked. The Botox however made me worse than I have ever been. I was at my lowest point and will NEVER do it again. I have never been in that much pain to requre a running 8 day epidural. I should have listened to my instincts the first time around and decided to reject that treatment. This may not be a good choice for people who have had multiple urethral surguries and have used fertility drugs.

Thanks for letting us know Kara. You are so strong. I think of you often. I wish so much that things could get better for you. Lets just hope that this next surgery is the one you have been waiting for!!
I was thinking of having botox done but I am starting to lean towards not doing it. I will have to do more research to see what I decide.

Kara, thanks for sharing. I am so sorry your experience was so bad. I think we should trust our instincts...I strongly believe that we know much more from our instincts than we realize. I also think we need to be aware of both sides of everything and the risks involved. :grouphug: Thanks again!
