I was diagnosed a year ago but I didn't know where this question would fit in. I have been dealing with IC now for a little over a year and this is the first time I have had this happen. My stomach is swollen and it is drastically bigger today than it was yesterday. My pain has increased and even my husband noticed the difference in my stomach. My question is does your stomach's swell? I have been bloated before on a period but this is worse and it seemed to come up fast. Any help would be appreciated. I don't go back to the doctor till mid April and I am switching urologist because my last one doesn't seem to care or I would call and ask them.

Well, many of us do have what we call IC belly....but for it to be a new symptom for you I really think you need to talk to a doctor, even if it's a family practice, etc....any time you have a new symptom it needs to be checked out to make sure it's not related to another problem.
