I go to NYC every few months on business. :) LOVE IT. And I'd love to meet anyone in RL. Baba, you sound like a blast. :)

Kara, I would never live up to that expectation! Unless your idea of a blast is a 40ish depressed nervous-librarian type homebody with IC -- did I mention nervous? *I* am fine with being like that, but I don't know if it's a blast to be around!

But I would like to meet some ICNers -- the one I have met in person is great! Hopefully I will get a chance to meet Kara29 -- and I am determined to make it to Kentucky someday and meet Amy, and go seek out quiltz and pottywoman in their locals (with their consent and willingness obviously :)). And if timing permits, meeting visitors to NY sounds fun too.

LOL! When I read this message I was on my library website ordering books! tee hee.....

I am on a first name basis with everyone that works there. I read anything and everything from Gardening to James Patterson to Shakespeare! I'm a book nerd, big time.

Don't underestimate your charisma! :D We all have moments of anxiety. I've been dealing with it and PA's ever since I can remember. But something about NYC energizes me! Just the thought of it. :woohoo: I hope you get to meet them all soon!

Hi Baba!
You didn't strike me as nervous when I met you! although, that may be because I'm naturally nervous too so it just didn't seem abnormal!! :)

I'm surprised there aren't more NYC people here... I like talking face to face with people about this IC thing, the support is so helpful. Baba, lets get together for a drink next week (tues or thurs?) and see if anyone else wants to join us!

oh! on the Elmiron board, someone was asking for a NYC doctor other than Kaufman and Moldwin (because of insurance issues she was looking for an alternative)... I don't know anyone else that I'd recommend. do you?

cheers,

Come on down!!! :) I got the "Baba Yaga suite" waiting for ya! It even already has my stash of books in it, and many of them are of the self-help nature! So if you a "depressed, nervous-librarian type homebody" would be right at home at my pad! :biglaugh: Seriously though, I would love to have a you anytime!
