Does anyone know of any disability rights books? The case for disability rights involving Christopher Reeves was awesome. Just wondering if anyone knows of any others dealing with lobbying and legislation. It gets me motivated to impact others!!!! Waiting to get accepted into graduate school so I can eventually lobby for our rights.

Did you guys know you can get brand new books off of Amazon for 1c plus shipping?? We do that all the time! In fact, we sell our used books there too. Great for college text books......better return than taking them back to the bookstores.

I just noticed Jonathan Kellerman and want to give equal time to his wife,
Faye Kellerman. Just make sure to start at the beginning since her books follow the same characters ..... and they develop over time.

I'd forgotten Mary Higgins Clark. Love her books...they're usually quick, easy reads, but they're always well written and fun.

Tracey, just go to Amazon.com, find a book that you like, and you'll see other ways to buy the book...usually in red I believe and it gives you alternatives to buy paperbacks or hardbacks, and sometimes collectors editions....I buy several books a month that way. It's cheaper than the used book stores around here, and easy for me since I dont get out a whole lot. I can get a brand new book for a total of 3.50 in perfect condition.

I've been doing this for months now and its wonderful!!!

Right, Sandy, when you go to a book's page, there is often a button in the top left that says "see all buying options" or something like that. All of a sudden the bargain racks at Borders seem expensive! :-)

ooooooooooooo Sandy, I love Dean K. too! Saw a new book in the store the other day and picked it up to read the back - but my son kept tugging on me so I never got to finish reading what it was about. I love Stephen King too...I"m a horror movie/book addict for some reason, always have been. And JK Rowling too....yep..gotta love Harry Potter!

I have been on a Dean Koontz roll here. I seem to do that, pick an author and read 4 or 5 of their books, then move on to someone else. I just got "Face" and "Odd Thomas" in the mail, from Amazon, a couple days ago. I've got to finish the book I'm reading before I start one of those....but, I'm tempted to put the book aside and come back to it. I wanna read Odd Thomas soooooooooooo bad. For the 2 books total, it was about 8 dollars, and that includes shipping, and 2 brand new books!!!

I am DEFINATELY gonna need a new bookcase, or 2!
