Cyclone Larry

Was anyone on this board or any of their family personally affected by Cyclone Larry? I just read that Larry came in at a Level 5. The news articale said there were no causalities so far, but a lot of damage.

I am so sorry this has happened to your beautiful country. It makes me so sad. :(

:) hi Sharon thank you for asking, I live in queensland, but more towards the lower end, the cyclone was in the top of queensland, in a town called innisfail and had quite a bit of damage done, the poor farmers lost their crops, they cannot win, it's one extreme to another, as far as I know the other girls on this board live in Melbourne or Sydney so they wouldn't of been affected at all, George lives in Sydney too, we have another cyclone happening at the moment, it had lost strenght, but it seems to be picking up strenght again, I hope nothing is going to come out of that one, thanks again for asking Sharon, it's really nice of you,

Thanks for asking how we are in Australia. I'm in Sydney so it's a long way away from the cyclone. But up north it looks just terrible on the news.
