Has anyone heard from Kara29?

I haven't gotten an email from her or seen her on the board in a couple of days. I know that isn't long but I usualy get an email from her everyday, so I am a little worried now. Have any of you heard from her? I am going to try to call her tomarrow, I can only call long distance on the weekend, well actually I will be calling her later today it is SAT. now, I just haven't gone to bed yet, ahhh. Anyway if anyone knows if she is ok please let me know, she is having a really hard time right now too so I worry. She has always been so helpful and positive here, I always love her thoughtful posts, so I really miss seeing her here and getting her emails everyday.

Lara, she was in sp much pain, she was admitted to the hospital and given an epidural.

Check the "just venting" board for a lot of messages about this and from people who called her in the hosp. There is a number you can call at the hospital. I called on Thursday and didn't catch her, but will try to call her today.

I talked to Kara yesterday on the phone. She's still on the running epidural, which they increased. Because of the epidural, she is not experiencing any pain, urgency, or frequency. She does not have much feeling from the waist down, or in her one leg. But she said that is a good thing, because she would rather be in bed and unable to walk than be in pain and experiencing urgency and frequency.

thank you so much Wendy and Green The Fish, I am so glad to know that she is ok and being taken care of, I was so worried.
If one of you speak to her soon can you please tell her I am praying for her and sending good thoughts! My surgery is friday and I am so sick so I am not sure I will be able to call her like I wish I could.

Hi Ladies i spoke to Kara last nite around 7pm, she was really BECIDE HERSELF! The pain clinic in the hospital had ordered the epideral stopped because of the length of time she has been on it ,and also because she had no feeling in her right leg.THE PAIN DOC ORDERED HER TO TRY A NEW PAIN MED !KARA SAID IT WAS HARD TO DESCRIBE BUT FELT LIKE HER URETHA WAS SHREDDED AND RIPPED OUT,she was crying and the nurse came in to let her know that the uro who was helping her was comming on call ,and hopefully he would be able to ordered the epiderial to be turned back on.I just wish there was something i could do for her,please keep sending the cadrs and calls she really needs all our support! kara I love you and will call now then later update everyone ok,Hugs Sandra. :love: :grouphug:
