Has anyone tried Cytotec for urethral burning?

Hello all!

I am just wondering if anyone has tried this & found that it helped. My main symptoms is constant urethral irritation (right at the bladder neck). I do not have urgency/frequency.

Hi Melinda cytotec did not help my urethral burning. My bladder pain is pretty much gone. I also suffer mostly from urethral burning , Almond milk did nothing for me. I have lots of frequency also. I just stared taking cymbalta nd veslcare. I went 3 days without any burning and today it came back. I just don`t understand.

Sorry it has not helped yet for urethral burning. Maybe giving it more time as you said your IC is severe. I do not suffer from frequency or urgency. Did you eat anything differently lately. I wish my urethral burning would go away for 3 days! I never seem to get total relief.

the cytotec has helped the urethral burning, it is way down to the point where i am now off the neurontin. as long as i empty my bladder when it is full, i feel hardly anything anymore. so just stay on the med, it might take 3months to work. also , had to take back the blueberry yogurt- caused burning- the acid in the yogurt. so it is true about diet- it can hurt us.
