LORI, I know that you are no longer accepting PMs. (I totally understand!) I just wanted you to know how very much I appreciate all the work you have put in to the Cytotec posts. All I can say is WOW!!! I have only been on the boards since Jan, but somehow I missed that whole thread until now. I am truly intrigued. I want to thank you and all the others who shared your experiances with it. I am more hopeful tonite than I have been in 4 yrs! It is killing me that it is 11 pm here and I will have to wait until morning to talk to my dr about this. I am hoping I can get in to him right away and see if he'll let me try this. I am so exited right now, I dont think I will even be able to sleep tonite. The last time I remember being this exited about something was as a child on Christmas Eve. It is that same anticipation! THANK YOU!!! Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for giving me hope again. By the way, I want to tell you I am so sorry that people took advantage of your kind heart, and exploited your time. I would be upset too. I am sorry that you had so many demanding e-mails. ( I have read and heard that you just had so many that you had to shut down your pm option). But I just wanted you to know that I know we all truly appreciate the time you have given us, in writing the longest thread I have ever seen! Congratulations on your remisson! :woohoo: I cant wait to try this too. (I have had several multiple UTIs, as well as IC, GERD, ulcers, IBS, fibromyalgia, among other things.) I cant belive that none of my drs has thought of this drug for me. I want to thank you again for giving me hope. Love, Amy

Wow! Oh gosh, you guys made me cry :) But in a good way.

Oh I'm hoping so much the cytotec helps all of you who wish to try it.

I'm not doing so good right now - came down with a bad UTI - a real one, the labs confirmed it and I was peeing straight blood, it was awful - and I'm still on the Cipro, haven't finished the course yet but I'm still having bladder pain at night and I would have hoped the UTI would be gone by now. So I don't know if it is some lingering infection and maybe it will go away soon, or if my bladder has now been made permanently worse because of the UTI and cytotec no longer will give me 100% relief..I just don't know but I'm scared at this point.

Anyway, thank you all so much. I was just getting kind of burned out on the PM's. Needed to take a break for awhile.

Blessings,
Lori

I am also happy that you are back here helping people. Sorry that you had an infection. I had one recently also and that could have been part of the reason I was a little cranky recently. Hope you feel better.

Lori--Sorry to hear about your UTI. You have doing quite well for the past 3 months on cytotec. I hope the UTI does go away and you feel better soon.

I am one of the rare ICers who gets frequent "true" UTIs. I had ten documented last year alone. They are murder! I hope the Cipro kicks in for you soon, and you get to feeling better.

Lori, you did a great job making people listen to your success. I have noticed some posts get buried before people can read them. You made people listen.

Hi, everyone thank you! I'm still feeling rotten because of this cold (it really seems to be hanging on, it did that for my husband too - he was sick for two weeks with it and still not 100% back to normal. I'm also still having bladder irritation even though I've finished the course of antibiotics so I'm really down now.

So anyway I probably won't be here much because I'm down. :( I wish everyone well though and hope for good things for everyone.

Blessings,
Lori
