View Full Version : cystoprotek refund policy - does it extend to the ICN shop?
I want to try cystoprotek but when I asked about a free sample, I was told someone else must make that decision other than the person answering the phone. They took my info and said they would send me information on cystoprotek.
I was wondering if the ICN shop is covered under their refund policy or not. It does not sound like it since their refund policy states that to obtain a refund:
"The product must have been purchased directly from Algonot LLC."
If I can not get a sample, then I guess I'll have to buy a bottle it from Algonot directly instead of the ICN shop. I'd rather buy it through ICN if ICN benefits from the sale but at the risk of giving up the possibility of a refund, I guess I should play it safe and go with the company directly.

I received my information package today and it INCLUDED a 5 capsule sample pack , so they came through for me! I was so glad they sent it. I took the first capsule tonight...hopefully I will not have any adverse reactions.

I was able to get a sample by calling them a few months back, maybe get another operator, or if their contact us thing on their site works, didnt a while back for me, try that?

This sounds weird. Sending out a sample doesn't require a decision.... it's just a matter of availability. The problem is that the only samples available are for the old formulation of cystoprotek which is no longer available. Also, we rarely have samples on hand. We do have some now, I think. You can call Janice at the order center, leave a message if needed, and ask for a sample to be sent to you.... but, again, it depends upon if we have been given some by the company. Please leave your name and address and phone!
We cannot accept returns for any opened supplements EXCEPT the algonot products. This is because the manufacturer has recently agreed to refund the cost of those bottles to us. But, if you've bought CystaQ, Aloe or any of the other products and opened it, it's yours.
If you make the Algonot/Cystoprotek return within two weeks, we may give you a refund for a single opened bottle, as well as unopened bottles also included in that purchase (i.e. a 3 pack) provided that they are in good shape. If, for example, they have been kept in a hot environment, the capsules may have melted. Thus, we reserve the right to check the bottles to make sure that they are resellable before we issue a refund.
We are, though, a small business and we can't afford to give a refund for three months of product like they do. We also need you to promptly respond to us if we have any questions. It's VERY FRUSTRATING when someone calls and says they have a problem with an order, but they then don't respond to any of my emails or phone calls. What's worse is when it's returned two months later... well after our return date... and they get made at me. I mean, sheesh!!!
We've had, for example, people purchase books... then photocopy them to the point that the book spine is damaged from being flattened in the copier... and then ask for a refund for the damaged book.
We've had people return chair cushions covered in cat or dog fur or, worse, smelling horribly of cigarette smoke.
Hmmm... the worst are packages sent to England... only to have them returned on the slow boat (a 2 month journey) because they weren't picked up by the customer... only to discover that the postal reps in England NEVER told the customer that the package had arrived. This has happened MANY times in the past year.
So... it's a daily process of adjustments... If you have any issues at all, I encourage you to contact me directly with your questions.

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking more along the lines of Algonot LLC honoring the ICN shop but I can see why they would not and also why the ICN couldn't offer the same. It's a generous offer they have to refund $ if it doesn't help so I think I'll order my first round from them (just in case) and then order subsequent orders from the ICN shop.
Thanks!

What is the difference between the new formula and old formula of cystoportek?
