Hi all,
this website is so great. I just joined the forum while searching for more information regarding having a cystoscopy. This forum is very informative.

I would just like to know what the experience of having this procedure is . I have never had anything inserted before - still a virgin- still no luck in getting rid of it( never even tried having a tampon inserted or even a finger ). And i kind of wondered how painful this will be for me.

I am to have this by the end of the month, and i was wondering if i should try practicing inserting a tampon to adjust my body for this :hmm:

I've never had a plain cysto but I did have the hydrodistension done. As far as I know, there probably won't be any need to insert anything vaginally. They go through the urethra to get a look inside the bladder. So, you shouldn't have any worries there. Good luck!
