I don't think I believe it and I really hope it is just because I am recovering from an infection but since being on Elmiron(just days) I have had this constant bladder feeling. It wouldn't even have time to work would it?!

I really want Elmiron to work as invasive hydros and instills cause UTIs that takes weeks to go away!

Wlmiron didn't help me at all so I stoped that a long time ago. The rescue treatments Elmiron/Bicarb/Heparin instills work for me for a couple of hours but it helps me best in that way only and not orally.

Hmm......I don't know. I did notice an increase in bladder cramping and sensitivity since I started treatment and I assumed maybe it was the Elmiron, hopefully working....thinking of that old adage "no pain no gain"....lol

I have alot of side effects w/ Elmiron, but I'm so desperate to get better I'm just sticking it out for awhile.

Feel better soon!

Elmiron didn't work for me, the side effects where horrible. Worst experience in my life. My uro took me off the drug after about 5 months of use which was ok because it wasn't helping the IC enough to stay on it.

Well I can safely and THANKFULLY can say it is not the Elmiron as i haven't had any (only had 2 days worth prior to that) I think it is a nasty yeast infection and that is causing an IC flare - got constant burning and then used the thrush cream but it has made the burning unbearble - now waiting for the tablet to kick in! Soooooo bad that it hurts to sit
