I seem to have lost the scrapbooking thread which probably got right of topic anyway :biglaugh:
So here's a new one.
I had NO intention of getting into this craft and fought it all the way. However, since deciding to do an album, as a signature/message book for my son's twenty first birthday party, I'v been sucked in!
My niece is a mad scrapper and after asking her for help, I visited her on Saturday night for inspiration....five hours later, I left with 40 scrapbooking magazines and a head full of ideas. Now my dining room table is a sea of photo albums and stuff! I thought I'd just stick a few photos in an album and voila! No such luck! This is a mindbogglingly big task.
Bother! and I was just getting into my cross stitching. I think I am going to have to draw up a workday plan. 1 hour for housework, 1 hour for cooking, 5 hours for stitching and 5 for scrapping....and somewhere I have to work in this time I spend on the computer!!!...I guess I don't need to sleep!

I've never attempting scrapbooking. I have no patience with things like that, however the scrapbooks i've seen done are quite interesting.
My neice in CA (she's 25), one of her friends grandmothers has all the kids over once or twice a month for a scrapbooking get-together. I think this is quite funny and cool at the same time..Granny with all the 20-somethings, sorting through pictures, drinking wine, cutting out page decorations, drinking wine, etc etc etc..haha..
My GYN owns a scrapbooking business..funny huh...?
Make sure to take photos of the pages so I, and everyone else, can see and enjoy..

Hmmmm, D, I think it will be a long way off before I have anything to post. I waded through pictures on the weekend and now I am scanning them so I can adjust sized and crop some as well.
Every so often, the scanner freezes so I have to reboot the pc..dashed annoying!
Think I will go with two pages for every year and follow a theme throughout. As it will take forever to think of new ideas for each page. He has been mad on trains since about four so I might use that.
Any ideas from you crafty gals would be greatly appreciated.
I thought I might do a whole collage page or even two, with a picture of every person that has been important to him over the 21 years. That means ......back to the albums again...just as well they are still adorning the dining room table!
