It seems they have to be closely balanced and monitored if one wants to remain employable.
Is anyone getting both from the same place?
Or how closely have you been able to get a psychiatric professional to work with your pain management clinicians? My uro is quite blithe and non-forthcoming about pain and sleep medications. I have turned to my PCP, and may turn to a clinic if I have to.
My concern is wanting to balance the sedation of pain medications with an antidepressant that is not sedating. I have always relied on Paxil in the past -- coundn't tolerate other things -- but Paxil itself is very sedating. Sleep, undersleep, oversedation, are all constant issues for me.
