Switch to just Algonot?

Hi all,

I had high hopes for Cystoprotek, as an additional treatment with Elmiron, Elavil, and Urised, which I have been taking for 7 months. My main problem is pain, but lately have been having a lot more urgency too! Yuck.

Literally 20 minutes after taking one Cystoprotek, my bladder felt like I had instilled acid in there and I was in a whopper flare for 3 days after.

Now, do I dare try just the Algonot? Or just glucosamine and chondroitin? Has anyone reacted to the Cystoprotek but been fine with either Algonot or a glucosamine/chondroitin supplement?

I did not do well with Cystoprotek but did fine with plain glucosamine and chondroitin. Good luck!

All I can take is N-acetyl glucosamine. Glucosamine sulfate killed me and so did chrondroitin. I couldn't take Algonot or Desert Harvest aloe vera so I was afraid to try the others.

I couldn't handle Cystoprotek or DH Aloe either.
But I tried NAG and Glucosamine/Chondrotin sulfate and was fine.
So I think that is was the quercitin and the aloe that got me!
