Question about TENS

Is it ever used on other things than IC?

Have you heard of them being used for menstrual cramps? Or have you heard of women needing their TENS primarily at that time?

My tens was given to me for back problems and it has been a godsend!!!!
I tried it for ic pain and it seemed to help, BUT I have bad reaction to adhesives.. the tens pads on my back and neck have been fine but the tender area in the abdomen area does not work.. Damned if I do damned if I don't!!!! :bonk: Helps the pain but the irritation from the adhesive gel is too much.. Tens units come in many different kinds.. if you get one.. get a good one.. Mine is an Epix XL.. one of the best.. the insurance would not pay for it and sent one from another compnay that was junk!!!! So I got the Epix on ebay for 75 bucks it is about a 1200. unit..I buy my pads there too cheaper than the insurance copays..

They are used for lots of pains. Mine helps with both IC and menstrual cramps.
