well I am not still feeling any better I checked my urine with the urine testing kit

My symptoms of burning and low grade fever and chills and bad bladder spasms and kidney pain. I used one of the ic's urine testing kits and it is postive for nitrates. I don't know what to do I am on cipro for two more days. My dr. doesn't listen :headbang: :help:

I think I would specifically request a culture and sensitivity test be done to be sure you are on the right antibiotic for the specific "bug" you have.

I called my fp and nurse said when he gets in this afternoon she will ask him for a culture and senstivity.

hope the results come back soon so you can get on the right antibiotic. They should have done a culture earlier!

I haven't done one yet I am dropping off my urine this afternoon to be tested.
