Well, here I go again. :headbang: The new tens I bought on Tuesday is not working right. I thought it was just using up batteries real fast but the light keeps flickering which the pulsing goes along with the flickering. I'm not having a steady pulsing. The pharmacy is closed already so will have to call first thing in the morning. I'm beginning to wonder if I am even suppose to have it anymore. At least this one is under warranty. It should since it isn't even a week old. :toilet:

Hi:

I have used a tens periodically for years. Check to see if you have it in the pulsating mode. This would explain the variation in the voltage, it varies slightly from mhz to mhz (megahertz to megahertz, tiny electrical unit). Are you sure your batteries are not worn? I had that happen. Did you possibly drop the unit? It is easy to do. Are the electrodes attached firmly to the unit and attached firmly to your abdomen??? A few questions...and concerns you kind of have to figure out on your own.....Be a little bit of an amateur scientist...you'll be surprised.....

I didn't drop it. It's brand new and was being very very careful with it. I had it set on contant vibrations and tried using different batteries each time. Even put on a new lead wire/electrodes and all. They gave me a loaner until they see if or what is wrong with mine. Did you know they gave out loaner tens??? I was so happy about that. I might have to go to ph and see if they can re-set it. I don't seem to get the same kind of pain help with it but then in the 5 years I have had it the settings have stayed the same.
