What does a biopsy show?

Hi, this may be a dumb question, but when they do a biopsy during a hydro, what does that tell them? Is it strictly to rule out cancer or is there other info they can get?

Cancer is one...other forms of Cyctitis like Eosinophilic Cystitis, ane tuberculosis.

Did they do a biopsy in your hydro? Did you not get the results yet?

Yes, they did a biopsy, but I don't go back for a month so I guess I wait to find out. That's why I wondered what they were checking for. I'm sure if it were something really bad they would have called by now.
