I am trying to apply for dissability & was told to bring in as much info on it as I could, especially because it is probarly something they are not famiular with. I really want to let them know the impact this has on our lives, ( not hat we just pee a bit more than the average Joe Blow.) So I was wondering if any of you could provide me with any links or threads that I could take along with me to strenghten my case. I am not sure where to start but any info would be great.
Thanks again

the # 1 thing you want to print up and take to them is the IC and Disability, that is in www.ssa.gov It also might be here in the IC handbook (link below) Tell your uro you are appling so he will tell them you are disabled because of this... some tome today I will try to find a couple of articals from news papers, and post them for you, unless some one has them on hand an can do so. One is from the washington Post, the other I can't recall the name of the paper..

Thanks Tiger, You are an absoult Angel in my books. I don't think there has ever been a post I have sent that you haven't taken the time to reply to. Your endless support mean so much to to me. I can see why you have raised such a lovley caring young daughter, she is just like you
Thank you so much. Any info would be great, I just want something that lets them know the full impact IC has on our lives.

Also keep diary logs. Pain and voiding diaries. I found that especially helpful when I went to court. Also keep a journal of your daily activities stateing what you can and cant do. I found as much info on the computer I could find on the disease and keep copies of everything you bring and send in to them. Also letters from your doctors are very helpful to.
Good luck and dont give up... :)
