A family friend, who happens to be a pediatric urology surgeon in Indiana, thought there was an excellent IC uro in Seattle at the U of W. Anyone know who this might be? Thanks!

I see Jane Miller at the UW. Not to be mixed up with Elizabeth Miller. I don't know if she is an excellent doctor or not, but the best I have seen so I'm sticking to her! She will pretty much let you do anything you want, because she knows the tricky nature of controlling IC. If you come in saying you want instills, she will give you instills. I wanted a TENS, she wrote a scrip for it. Same for pelvic floor physical therapy. Don't ask me about pain meds, I don't know her feelings on them, cause I don't take that sort of thing. She did all my diagnostic testing and was very good at it, and cared when it hurt. She is hard to get an appt. with and also very expensive, even with insurance. Still, I think she is the best around. I also see the ARNP at the UW, Jean Kalhoff.

I see Emily Bradley in North Seattle and I am quite pleased with her. Here's her info:

Hi Megancolleen - I see her to at her south office. I find her easy to work with yet she does not seem to know as much about IC as they do at the U of W, probably because of their age/experience. She didn't know about Elmiron instills for instance. However, I bring material to her and she reads it. She approved of me trying misoprostol. We can help these busy young doctors by educating them because we have the time to do the research and they don't. She did not know what quercetin was, so she does not know about natural treatments, yet. So let's work on her! PeeVee

I had an appt to see Dr Miller, but I saw Dr Raz at UCLA first, so I never met with her....The local uros speak highly of her, for what that's worth...

No at the U, but a fabulous, competent and compassionate female located in Mountlake Terrace, WA named Karny Jacoby. She is a wonderful, comforting doc.
She's just 12 miles north of Seattle on I-5. She works with most insurances, etc.

I have seen Jane Miller at the UW. I really liked her. She was up on all the new IC stuff. I found her to be very caring.
She referred me to the UW pain clinic and then to Dr. John Loeser (neurosurgeon) who implanted my intrathecal pain pump.
