okay i really dont want to have to ask this in fear of grossing someone out but i didnt know who else to ask. have any of you had hemorrhoids? i cant seem to get the ones i have to go away. i mean i know they wont go away totoally but i want them to not hurt. ive tried preperation H , tucks pads and nothing seems to work. i feel like my @ss is on fire. someone please help!! :help:

I have them but most of the time they don't bother me. Have you tried aloe vera gel? That might help some.

Are they bleeding? If so I would see a colorectal surgeon and they do something about them. Mine had gotten that bad years ago and they banded them. I still have problems from time to time, but not as bad as it was. Yes it is very painful, maybe lidocaine gel would help, but it is a prescription. If you are in that much pain you really should at least call your GP. Judith

It's also important that you avoid straining for a bowel movement. I suggest you talk to your doctor about possibly taking a stool softener.
