What is your opinion about reasons for or against having more than one home group? Is there any literature on this in NA or AA that specifically gives such reasons?
In my area some people do have more than one home group - but not many. I'm not sure of the reasoning. For me, I've liked having one group that I could commit to each week, help out with chairing the meeting, setting up, etc. and then could vary meetings the rest of the week. Maybe it is just about keeping things simple?
I don't know that any of the literature says anything about it. In fact, when most of the literature was written I don't think they had home groups. Some of the newer pamphlets might address it, I suppose.
Good questions! :)
