Hi everyone,

Just wondering how you are all doing after Christmas/festive season and New Year?

My bladder has been on and off even though I was pretty good at Chrissy and hardly ate anything naughty and hardly drank anything. I think it was the stress of it all (typical at this time of the year) that did me in!

Hope everyone is feeling OK - it's been a bit quiet here (except for the happy news about Sara's new bundle of joy, of course!)

Hugs :grouphug:

Hello everyone,

Had a quiet Christmas and New Year. Am still battling with my suprapubic catheter after the botox disaster. But I can pee a little the "normal" way and let the rest out through the catheter. Am really trying to be as positive as I can in order to get on with life.

How is everyone else doing? Lets hope that 2006 is a better year for us all.

George

Yes, I too hope it's a better year for everyone. I don't know anyone who isn't struggling with something.

Things are much MUCH better for me now that the holidays are over. The stress is much more bearable.

Hello all, I think that a better 2006 is a wish we all have.
When do you start back at the university Kirsten?
Has anybody been away on holidays. We stayed at home as David is saving for a trip overseas later in the year.
I don't earn any money, so it appears that I am not invited!

Hi everyone,

Good to hear about how you all are at the moment. I'm back at work but kind of taking it easy - my diabetes has been playing up (high blood sugars, which are making me quite tired, and more tests to find out why my blood sugars aren't going down). Classes at uni don't begin again until the last week of Feb, so there's a still a few weeks before the madness comes again!

I really do hope 2006 is better for us all. We deserve it!!! :grouphug:

Kirsten, sorry to hear you'e diabetes is acting up. I don't know a lot about the disease. Does it usually take some time to settle down after diagnosis and treatment?
Enjoy the rest of your break...it will be all go I expect once you start back. My son's depression seems to be under control now (fingers crossed) and he is looking forward to starting afresh at Uni.
We have this joke here that his sister, who starts year 12 this year will graduate university at the same time as him! We are all just so happy to hear him humming and singing around the place again.
