I was put back on MS Contin last week (see prior post, this section)....EVERYDAY I want to just sleep. Problem is, I can't stay awake all day, as hard as I try ( and now I'm back to depending on others to drive me) I doze off throughout the day and forget stuff again. I HATE THIS. However...I'm awake throughout the night and I have dreams that I'm in labor my belly hurts so bad. I wake every hour. This is WITH my valium and percocet to Augment my Percocet. Help me out. I was almost starting to consider finding work, I actually thought my pain was gone....(I, uh, guess, the Avinza just works great) My chiropractor was doing myofascial release in the pelvic area and I wound up crying. (he stopped) but I usually just ***** and call him nasty names.

I did see Chronicals of Narnia last night....long movie...(i just by the number of trips to the can) 4 trips. the first trip was truly a trip. I fell down the last 3 steps. How embarrassing. grogginess due to meds. nice rug burns all over my legs with about 5 rows standingup and saying "are you ok" I bounced back up, shook it off and laughed, then went around the corner, winced and said bad words under my breath after that. My 10 year old was thought it quite humourous. Nearly wet my pants b/c I held it so long. Then once i went, it was all over. Kind of like in college when you drink too much beer. You are ok as far as potty goes until you "break the seal" (go the first time) Then you go to bathroom, and head for the end of the line. With a beer in hand. Pretty smart. Make great friends in toilet lines....Ever been in porta potty lines for ever? Yuck. I guess any hole in the ground.(Those are the ones with looooooong lines and make you have shy bladder as everyone else is dancing the potty dance outside the door.)

Guess just trying to seeing the humor in all this.

Boy, you have me beat. I saw the same movie last week and only had to make one trip to the restroom. Good thing I didn't have any stairs to go down! I was so glad to read your post. I laughed out loud and had to go the the bathroom for a tissue instead of a visit! Thanks for a little humor! I needed it!

:grouphug: Is the grogginess improving at all? If not maybe you and your doc need to come up with a different plan in your meds.

Sorry about your movie experience. Hope you feel better soon.:grouphug:

No...unfortunately this is what I was living with for 2 1/2 years b-4 Avinza. Seems to give me an almost Anaphalaxis rxn and problems with a hyper immune system. However, my allergery specialist said fentanyl patches were better than MS Contin in terms of pain relief and sleepiness. (and allergy reactions) On the Avinza, I was consulting with an outdoor education system to develop a parrallel system for disabled kids to come to this residential program. Now I'm just doing a half a day a week of clerical work, but its all volunteer so it;s ok....I feel bad though. I was using the parrallel curriculum to write a special project for 5 credit hours, I'm hoping I can still do this. (My college advisor is next.

OH and believe me....MY PCP is 9n it and *****ing!!!!!
