Should I reschedule?

I'm wondering; I just got my period and I'm supposed to have a cysto. Does it matter?

I was going to reschedule my urodynamics b/c I though getting my period would matter..but it didn't come on time. I would just call the office and ask a nurse.

I had one but it was a very light period towards the end. Hope it goes well and gices you some relief.

Hello I Can Tell You They Can Still Can Do It. I Had My Period For My First One. You Just To Wear A Pad. Which Is Not Pretty! Or Very Comfortable. So I Think If You Are Ok With It It Should Be Ok. Do You Have A Man Docter?

I don't think your period should pose a problem but if it is really driving you bananas call your doc so you can have some piece of mind.

I would reschedule. A cystoscopy is quite painful and if you're already having pain from your period it will only be worse with the cysto. I think there is also an increased risk of infection and just messy for the doctor. If your not having menstrual pain and doctor is willing to do it then it'll be fine.

I had my period and had hydro and cysto I had talked to the Dr. (male) he said it didnt matter to him whatever I felt like doing

My URO does not do procedures during a womans cycle; one reason being its too messy for the Dr, and theirs a higher risk of infection for the patient.
The only way you'll know for sure whether to reschedule or not is to phone your Dr and ask.
