Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to pass on a treatment my Urologist had me try and have had great results with.

Lidocaine Jelly - Applied to the catheter before inserting

mixed at time of treatment:
Gentamicin 80 mg.
Marcaine 0.5% 50 cc
Sodium Bicarbonate 8.4% 50 cc
Solu-Cortef 100 mg
Heparin 10,000 units

Once weekly for six weeks

I found this has helped me a great deal. I am not in near as much pain, infact I have even been able to return to work part time. :woohoo: .
Good luck and have a safe and happy New Year.

not ingreatpain anymore...

Hi All,
I first noticed relief from the installations by the 3rd visit. I held the first installation 25 mins. by the last install I was holding it for 2 1/2 hours. My bloating was also minimized with each installation.

Keep us informed. I'd be interested in knowing if you continue to have relief or need to go in for additional treatments. What other meds are you on?
