I sometimes use ambien, it helps, but you cant use it for long periods of time..another good one is lunesta and they say you can use it for extended periods of time. What is keepin you up?? Is it your IC? IF you can get those sympoms under control it has personally helped me the most. Hope you get a good nights sleep soon! :hi:

My uro gave me Klonopins to go with my pain medicine in the pass I was suppose to take it three times a day, but it makes me sleepy threw out the day so i started just taking it at night. The klonopin helps me rest and also eases my bladder so I can get some shut eye also.
If your uro or primary care cared dr. will give you some nerve pills those could do the trick.
Hope you get some sleep soon! Sending you hugs and prayers for a good nights rest.
Rhonda
Oh p.s they also relax my bladder so I'm only up one or twice in the middle of the night. instead of every hour on the hour.

I also have trouble sleeping. I take lortab but they don't work as well anymore. To sleep i uses to take alavil, but I am trying to get off them. So I am taking Tylenol pm. I am always in pain.
Elavil helps me, I don't have to go so often and the panic attacks I've had most of my life are much reduced.

If you have OCD you can ask your doctor about Prozac or something that will help this. IC is bad enough without the burden of worry etc. I'm not a doctor or med professional. I can tell you its worth exploring and if the doctor doesn't know, ask a psychiatrist because they are very up to date on medications that can help with this. I hope this helps.
Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers,
