I'm not really sure what the proper name is for this symptom I've been having ... maybe it is night sweats. I'm 25 years old, not on birth control and don't have any pain associated with my bladder symptoms (other than mild burning when I pee).

Well for months now I've noticed that I wake up all sweaty on my back and underarms. It doesn't happen every night but most nights it does happen. Anyone else have this? I am starting to think that my ureaplasma infection hasn't cleared up and that's what's causing this. Or maybe I have another type of infection as well? My bedroom isn't hot...if anything it is on the cooler side so I don't think that's the problem.

I am more sweaty than usual... a lot more sweaty these days. I am normally a warm person but these days I am really hot. I will all of a sudden out of nowhere feel very warm. I get all these red splotches on my neck and chest. My face will also get red. The wierd thing is sometimes I don't even feel that warm I just look in the mirror and notice that I am quite red. Other people have noticed this as well. My dentist took off the dental bib after checking my teeth and pointed out what he thought was a rash (haha now that didn't make me feel self conscious really!). I laughed and told him no it's not a rash that just happens to me sometimes. I know it's not a rash because it's not itchy and it can fade in 5-10 mins.

My body is totally revolting against something. And I'm sure these symptoms are all connected I just don't know how.

I am very frustrated. I feel like I don't have control over my body in any way ... from the incontinence to the frequency and urgency to the hot splotches ... my body is falling apart and I'm only 25....

Help!!!

I suggest a talk with your doc. It may be totally unrelated to IC & he can run some tests to se what's going on. Kathi

What kind of tests out of curiousity?

I need to find a new doctor. I've switched several times and none of them listen to me or help me or believe my symptoms.

Absolutely see a doctor. Night sweats should always be investigated.

First I'll need to find a doctor who believes my symptoms :bonk:

I think the nightsweats are related to my ureaplasma infection. I have a feeling it hasn't cleared up yet. I'll find out soon enough -- actually on Jan 23rd.

Thanks,

Erica
