I was starting to do better. Typical pattern of feeling worse at night. I bought this thing to put in the toilet called 2000 flushes and put it in 2 days ago. It says it contains organic chlorine bleach. I asked people with IC about it and they said it didn't bother them. However, everyone is different. I think I am having a reaction to this stuff. I often need to sit awhile until the stream of pee starts. And I can also have another symptom of starting and stopping peeing. Well I thought If I'm sitting on the toilet with this bleach in it maybe that's why I've not been doing as well lately. IC is so unpredictable. 2 days ago I ate this salad with some miso dressing. I've eaten it many times. That could be a culprit too. There is a way to take out the tablet of toilet bowl cleaner, flush and wear protective gloves and put the thing in a plastic bag and throw out. I'm going to the hardware store tomorrow. I'm flaring like crazy.
Been so tired from IC today. I hate this disease.
All support, prayers welcome. I am positive I don't have a UTI. Hoping for sleep tonight.

Some people are alergic to cleaning products & different smells. This may well be your problem. You won't know until you remove the blue & see. Feel better soon, Kathi

Hi Kathi,
This product wasn't the blue one. I use the toilet and then keep the lid on it the rest of the time. It's worth a try to get that product out of there. I am waking up feeling better. I had to pee several times during the night and things started calming down, though sleeping was interrupted. This morning I peed easily. I hope I can get that darn product out of the tank and get the right kind of gloves to help me do it.
Thank you everyone for being here. I can't even begin to find the words to express how much it means to me, that we have a place where we can be together supporting each other and rejoicing in improvements.
With love

Sometimes I'm tempted to use one of those cleaners, but we have a dog and I'd be afraid somebody might leave the lid up and she would drink it. So I just use the clorox throw-away things and occasionally pour in some bleach, let it sit for a while, then flush. So far no problems.
