can u drink too much water w/ the pyrdian plus?

i have been drinking water, water and more water, no soda pop what so ever and no relief hardly. The pyridium plus doesn't even make my pp turn orange anymore my uro is off on vacation. haven't heard from my p test i don't know what to do. I went to a specialist in knoxville tn this summer. I guess I am gonna have to call them tomorrow to see what I should do. I don't know I know what my uro is gonna say he is gonna want to stretch my bladder again and ever since he did this last time i have had this trouble. I think I will go back to Knoxville and see what they say do. They wanted to do the interstem and I said no to that and plus my insurance didn't cover it. So if I get my bladder stretched I will prob. go to Knoxville to do it. Last time it hurt and ever since I have pped on myself etc... I live in Virginia does anyone know any good doctors in Southwest Virginia??? Knoxville is 3 hours from me. But back to the water and the pyridium can you drink to much water? :headbang: :help:

this all started bad on tuesday and i went for a bladder infection test and i haven't heard anything from it. they sent it off for a culture. I am going to the bathroom like 3x in 5 minutes it STINKS. :toilet:

I'd call them tomorrow to ask about the urinalysis and culture for sure.

I suppose if you are drinking tons and tons of water that it could dilute the pyridium too much and it might not be as effective, but I'm no doctor. I'd say if your urine isn't orange it might mean your urine is too diluted.

I have taken a whole vial of that pyridium plus and I find it gives me dry mouth. My urine was getting lighter and lighter as well. I am trying to get off it since I have read bad things about Pyridium. Lately, I have been drinking a really strong glass of baking soda water and it has been doing the trick. Is it possible you could try that?

Yes, it's possible to drink too much water. How much are you drinking? It would take a lot to be too much.
