My uro says I have moderate IC but I also have fibromyalgia. I think this ailment has a lot to do with my IC symptoms. Lately I have had pubic bone pain along with an irritable bladder. Anyone else with chronic public bone pain? I just use a heating pad for relief and maybe some tylenol.
I've been in a flare ever since a recent UTI and taking Cipro and then a round of Keflex. I had a bacteria called enterococcus. The infection is clear (so far) but my bladder aches--some days worse than others.
I'm back to my IC diet, AZO and Tums. I swear I must have been in remission because my IC symptoms were in control. The only things that bothered me were sodas, chocolate and too much tomato sauce.
Ever since the UTI, I'm back to square one!
Anyone else go into a flare after a UTI and how long does it take before feeling better? Any other home remedies? I can't take strong meds-as I'm very sensitive. Tylenol or Advil is my only pain relievers.
