Just cuious if anyone has tried this approach of Bioidentical Hormone Replacement thearapy in their search for a rejuvinated bladder, and if it might have done some good?

Hi Glenda, I am using the bioidentical estrogen and testosterone and use an otc progeterone cream. All this after a hysterectomy in 2000. My IC didn't show up till Novemeber 2003. I have also used bioidentical estriol cream locally for my vulodynia without relief. I do know if you are low on estrogen it could cause bladder symptoms though. It would be worth getting tested to find out. Grace

thank you so much for your reply, im new here if you havnt guest it. I feel so alone in this disease so much of the time. As a matter of fact, I just had an appmnt. with Dr. Roby, from the Roby institute in Texas, because I found his meathod of treating ic on the web, and I jumped at it, like a nut. He started me on natural hormones. Not sure if they will do the trick yet. For the price of the visit, it should work wonders, though.
